וּמִֽמְּנַשֶּׁ֞ה נָפְל֣וּ עַל־דָּוִ֗יד בְּבֹא֨וֹ עִם־פְּלִשְׁתִּ֧ים עַל־שָׁא֛וּל לַמִּלְחָמָ֖ה וְלֹ֣א עֲזָרֻ֑ם כִּ֣י בְעֵצָ֗ה שִׁלְּחֻ֜הוּ סַרְנֵ֤י פְלִשְׁתִּים֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר בְּרָאשֵׁ֕ינוּ יִפּ֖וֹל אֶל־אֲדֹנָ֥יו שָׁאֽוּל׃
Także z Manassesa poległo Dawidowi, gdy przyszedł wraz z Filistynami przeciwko Saulowi na wojnę, ale nie pomógł im; albowiem panowie Filistyńscy za radą go odesłali, mówiąc:'Upadnie swemu panu Saulowi na niebezpieczeństwo naszych głów.'
